Confirmation Sunday

Not only was yesterday Palm Sunday, but at St. Paul's Lutheran church it was also Confirmation Sunday. What a special day for some of my former students! Here is a confirmation card that I made to match Shelby's custom journal (Spring Fling). Using the same paper that I used to make her journal really made it all come together nicely.

Simply Stripes

Two variations of journals using the same paper. The first one I made was in my pre-cricut days, hence, the chipboard monogram. The second one was for a confirmation gift. Although it is not in the picture, the second journal has a ribbon bookmark that is light blue with white polka dots.

Knowing God: Bible Studies Journal

Earlier this year my Bible Studies group read and discussed "Knowing God" by J.I. Packer. In order to retain the vast amount of information presented in the book, I really needed something to take notes in. I decided to whip up a little journal, so I picked out some cute paper, a matching ribbon for the bookmark,  and a piece of chipboard. This was made before I owned a Cricut, so it's very basic and simplistic. It definitely served its purpose well! It's great to look back and see some of the things I learned.

Spring Fling

A custom journal for Shelby. I made this journal for a confirmation gift. It may be used as a prayer journal, Bible studies/church notes, etc. I included her confirmation verse inside the front cover.
